Need for Speed Game (NFS)

Need for Speed game is an online racing game and favorite of every youngsters. Need for Speed gives an effect of driving like an exact driver’s experience. Need for Speed gives players an experience that produces the proper feeling of driving high performance cars.

Need for Speed was originally created by Electronic Arts and was later highly developed by several studios like Canadian based company EA Black Box. Need for Speed is one of the triumphant and flourishing video games of all seasons. Need for Speed was initially formulated by a Canadian company with its distinguishing software which was later called as EA Canada. It was earlier started in North America, Japan, and Europe in 1994.

How to play the game

Need for Speed has some rules and regulations to follow before starting to play the game. You have to choose a car from the various models and the location you would like to play. You have to control the car in various stages of race with the objective to win the race.

There is an option of choosing transmission of the vehicle which is classified as automatic and/or manual transmission. These games have multiplayer form permitting the players to race each other through split screen, LAN or the internet.

Need for Speed has sixteen series of games released from 1994 aimed at different age groups for generations. The different series are

Need for Speed I was designed in 1994 by electronic arts. These are multiplayer games. You have to choose the car at the start of the game and break the lock and win the game. You can see the car from within and outside in this series. Commentary and data for the game are available in this series.

Need for Speed II was designed in the year 1997 and many cars like Ford indigo is available. These present an arcade like format. You get NeGcon, dual analog and dual shock controllers. The special version has 3D graphics in it.

Need for Speed III or hot pursuit was designed in 1998 and in this you have to escape from the police. Here you have multimedia facility of CD ROM with picture, audio characteristics.

Need for Speed or High stakes or Need for High Challenge

This was launched in 1999. There are different types in this format like High Stakes, Getaway, Time Trap, and Career. In High stakes you get the loser’s car as a prize. Getaway makes you play the game by escaping the game in a limited time. In timetrap you need to complete the race in a given lap.

Need for Speed: Porsche unleashed

This gives out a realistic format and was released in 2000 and used Porsche. These games make you switch over different cars.
